During the GfBS annual meetings, the three best posters and short talks by student participants are recognized and awarded cash prizes. The selection of the best student contributions is carried out through an evaluation organized by the GfBS working group “Young Systematists”, in which scientifically experienced conference participants assess the contributions using standardized evaluation forms. Eligible participants are early-career researchers (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students), who are presenting authors or first authors.
